Mini Tournament Mode
From pool play to podium glory in one seamless event.
Precision Setup
Group managers can launch a Mini Tournament for exactly 8 or 16 players. The app removes the administrative headache by automatically seeding participants into balanced pools to begin the competition.
- Support for 8 or 16 player rosters.
- MXD Toggle: Perfectly balance gender counts for mixed doubles events.
- Automated Pool Seeding (e.g., Pool A & Pool B).
The Road to the Finals
Tournaments are structured in two high-intensity stages to determine the ultimate champions:
Pool Play: Players rotate through a Round Robin within their pools to establish standings.
Knockout Stage: Top qualifiers advance to the Semifinals and a winner-takes-all Final.
Live Bracket Management
Keep the tournament moving with Real-Time Player Access. Participants can track the entire bracket, view their specific court assignments, and enter match scores directly from their own devices. Managers maintain full control to edit matchups or adjust court settings as the tournament heats up.
The Champion's Summary
Once the final point is scored, every member of the group gains access to a comprehensive summary featuring knockout results, final standings, and AI-driven performance narratives.

1. Start a Mini Tournament
- Click on the hamburger icon in the Group's page.
- Select "Mini Tournament".
2. Add Players
- Decide whether you want to run a gender neutral or MXD tournament by selecting the switch in the top-right corner.
- The list shows all group players, together with their current ratings.
- Select/unselect the participating players with simple taps.
- Mini tournaments work with 8 or 16 players only.
3. Setup Courts
- Provide court names or numbers for each court.
- These names will show up on game cards for court assignments.
4. Tournament Settings
- If you selected 8 players; you will have one pool of 8, but if you selected 16 players, you will have 2 pools of 8 players each.
- The pools are balanced using current player ratings/gender.
- You can still move players between pools if needed.
- Select how many players qualify to knockout from each pool.
5. Start the Games
- Click "Generate Games" so the app creates the round robin stage.
- When ready; "Lock" the matchups so they show up on the scoreboard.
- When a game ends, enter its score.
- When all games in a round are finished, you can proceed to the next round.
- Follow the same steps till the end of round robin.
- You can follow live standings in the "Standings" page.
- When the round robin concludes, head to the "Knockout" page to generate the knockout matches.
- Proceed in the same way till the end of the tournament.
- When all rounds are finished, click "End Tournament".
